Dear One,
Just in time for my World Holiday today, (Global
Oneness Day) I received the gift of understanding this
oft quoted Rumi poem from my Heart rather than my
intellect alone.
Before I say it here, I want to preface what gave
me this powerful epiphany. Two DEAR friends of
mine are not communicating because of situation(s)
that have not been healed.
They CARE about each other, LOVE each other and
want to be in relationship, but because BOTH of
them are right, (remember, every individual is
"right" from the perspective they are experiencing
from) they cannot reconcile and heal...
Even though they WANT to!
It was witnessing this from my perspective of
Care and Love for BOTH that allowed this poem to
finally enter my Heart and WOW, did that make a
difference in the impact of Rumi's message:
"Out beyond Right Doing and Wrong Doing
there is a Field... I will meet you there"
I know I have read or heard this 30 or 40 times
and understood it intellectually but never had
I received it in my heart like this.
I invite you to think about a situation in your
own life where you can witness two people you
care about and consider the wisdom of these
words in a new light.
Gleefully dancing in the field today,
Nina
